SD also offers standard development tools, including Verilog and VHDL source code obfuscators, and compiler-independent test coverage tools and profiling tools for embedded systems. SD provides DMSŪ, a set of tools for automating custom analyses and/or massive transformations of systems of source code. Using DMS, one can implement quality analysis and enhancement tools, translators, optimizers, and arbitrary other tools that operate simultaneously across a large set of code or design files. DMS has front ends for many languages, including ANSI C and C++, VHDL and Verilog (see website for full list), and other languages are easily accomodated. DMS can also handle mixed languages at the same time, making it an ideal foundation for co-design tools. SD also offers a development tools based on DMS, including:
