FOR MORE INFO ON THIS IMPORTANT OBLIGATION. May 5, 2008: Speakers- If you have
submitted your slides to the DAC Presentation Help Desk ON TIME, you
should have received feedback on your slides from the DAC Presentations
Help Desk. Feedback is sent on a first-come first-served basis. Please
follow the suggestions given here at Slide
Prep . May 23, 2008: Speakers- FTP a final version of your slides to the DAC Presentation Help Desk for a final check and for storage on the DAC server. This will be used for projection if no newer version is brought by you to the Conference. If you do find the need to make changes after this date, please make sure to send them to slides@dac.com immediately. Even if you know that you will be making changes in the AV practice rooms upon arrival, you still have to send in the version that you consider final by the May 23 deadline so that we will have something to use at DAC in the event of an emergency. June 8, 2008: Speakers - Conference Begins. Bring the final version of your slides with you either on floppy, CD-ROM, thumb drive or a zip disk. At the Conference, we will load the presentations onto the appropriate computer for projection. The computers at the conference are NOT NETWORKED together. This is intentionally so to make sure that no unchecked versions get loaded onto the conference computers. The AV consultants will manually load your presentations on the computers in the AV/practice rooms upon their arrival. So any changes you have sent to them after May 23rd may not be present yet on the computers there. If this is the case it is important to CLEAR this personally with them and give them the correct version to load on the computer of the cubicle you will be working in. Attend the Speakers Breakfast at the Anaheim Convention Center the morning of your presentation. Breakfast is served in room 205AB on:
