DAC Attendee Hotel Reservations

 Room Rates/ Taxes/ Deadline

To take advantage of the special DAC group rates, please book your reservation or make changes no later than 5:00pm EST May 10, 2013.

Once housing closes, DAC room blocks will be released and hotels may charge higher rates.  All rates are per room night and are subject to a 9% lodging tax if you are tax exempt, 15% if you are not tax exempt.  Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, hotels will do their best to honor all special requests.  Hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.

Guarantee
A valid credit card number is required to guarantee your reservation.  However, payment is not due until check-in.

Changes/Cancellations
Continue to use CVB Housing for changes, i.e., names, dates and cancellations through May 10, 2013. Beginning May 11, 2013, changes and cancellations must be directed to your confirmed hotel.  Also, a 72 Hour Cancellation Policy applies.  Reservations not cancelled 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival date are subject to charges for one night plus tax.

SCAM ALERT
DAC exhibitors/attendees have reported in the past receiving telephone calls from personnel who say they are affiliated with housing and the DAC conference.  DAC has contracted only with the Austin Housing Bureau and has not authorized any housing company for the event. DAC has reserved plenty of hotel rooms and there is still availability at the official contracted hotels. To make a reservation, please contact the Austin Housing Bureau.
