DAC 2013 AUSTIN, TX | JUNE 2-6

Poster Prep

All Research presenters are required to participate in a 30 minute poster presentation following their technical session presentation.  If you have any immediate questions, please contact Kathy Embler in the DAC office.

Physical poster requirements:
You may produce a physical poster at maximum size of 36 inches x 36 inches or you can produce a total of (6) A4 pages.  We suggest you display a total of 12 presentation slides, 2 slides per A4 page.

At DAC:
Each regular Research or ESS Session will begin with concise presentations, and will end with poster presentations.  You will be required to stand next to your poster during the poster session, and to interact with attendees. This is an opportunity for you to provide details to attendees (as well as, for example, any hard copy handouts you wish to bring to the poster session), to have lively, one-on-one discussions, and to make contacts.

  • DAC will not supply output or production services.
  • We will provide for each poster and area that is 36 inches by 36 inches.
  • You are free to use this area in any way (e.g., one large poster, multiple 8.5"x11" sheets, etc.).
  • We will provide thumbtacks (pushpins) to hang your poster on provided cork boards.
  • Do not use foam core material for your poster or any other thick/heavy material.
