Thank you for agreeing to be a Session Chair at Virtual DAC 2020! This Session Chair Resource Center is designed to help guide you through the virtual conference preparation and presentation process.

On June 10 all presenters are to submit their draft PPT slides to the virtual DAC resource center for Session Chair review
Sessions Chairs need to provide feedback to the presenters no later than June 14.
Information on the training schedule will be provided by June 22

Guidelines for reviewing presentation slides:
In addition to content, kindly pay attention to style issues, such as:
Only PPT, PPTX, or PDF files are allowed.
Only landscape format may be used.
Company/University name and/or logo may only appear on the title (first slide) page.
DAC template is to be used on all presentations
Are the fonts large enough (no smaller than 14 point)
Is there sufficient contrast between the background and content?
NO wildly flying animations.
Warn speakers of fonts that show up strangely.
Check for consistency in punctuation marks.

DAC required template to use for all presentations:
ONLY PPT, PPTX, or PDF files are allowed
ONLY landscape (horizontal) orientation may be used
We do not allow any information in the footer except for the page number. Everything else will just distract from the content of the slides
Company/University name and/or logo may ONLY appear on the title (first slide) page
Please include your name/affiliation on your first slide
Please include your bio and optional photo on the second slide to introduce yourself to the audience
Please note if the presentation guidelines and template are not used in the final pre-recorded video your presentation may be removed from the program (which in turn will lead to a withdrawal of your paper).
10-Minute pre-recorded video presentation
presentations can not be more than 10 minutes
pre-recorded audio and slides are required (without, the paper will not be published)
recording a talking head picture with your slide presentation is optional
All presenters are required to use the DAC 2020 PPT template and to follow slide presentation best practices guidelines.
Final video presentation files must be saved as an MP4. We can ONLY accept MP4.
Each speaker will receive a secure link from DAC no later June 10 with instructions on how to upload their final presentation.
Pre-recorded video presentations are due no later than June 21
Once the video presentation is uploaded to the secure site there will be no updates or changes.
Reminder requirements for speakers on the day of your session:
MUST have a stable online connection; decent audio (head-set) etc.
Be available for training on July 6th - time to be decided
Virtual DAC will be held from July 20 - 24, 2020
All Virtual DAC presentations/content will be available for on demand viewing for all registered attendees until August 1, 2020
Virtual DAC will run at US Pacific Standard Time
